Real-Time Fire Eagle with XMPP

A session at London Open Hack Day 2009

Saturday 9th May, 2009

2:00pm to 3:00pm (GMT)

Fire Eagle helps users capture, manage and share information about where they are and services personalize themselves to those user's location.

Recently, the Fire Eagle team launched their XMPP API, which makes it possible for a site to get real-time notifications every time a user changes location. In this video Seth talks about why that's cool, how to get yourself up and running with it and other things you can do with real- time stuff.
