Heuristic Evaluation: Use and Abuse

A session at Usability Professionals’ Association – 2009 International Conference

Wednesday 10th June, 2009

3:30pm to 5:00pm (PST)

Heuristic evaluations and other user interface inspection methods are the second most widely used usability method. Nonetheless, they're often conducted with poor or unsystematic methodology and thus don't always live up to their full potential. This panel discusses what we’ve learned about heuristic evaluation over the past 20 years.
