Acting out TCP

A session at UK Scale Camp 2010

Be the packet. A crazy idea half theatre, half review of Stevens: let's try to create scripts for all the main TCP/IP interactions, from ARP and TCP handshake up to routing and route management. The theory is that this should be a useful way of introducing important networking concepts to people who otherwise would never learn them, whether children who think (or whose teachers think) it's too hard, or developers who don't want to get bogged down in stuff they don't consider directly relevant.

Subsequently (at least in theory) being developed on the tcpip-dramatised Google Group.
