SVG in the Opera browser

A session at SVG Open 2010

Over the last couple of years, Opera has been committed to implementing SVG in its browser, making it an excellent tool for SVG viewing. In addition, the built-in Opera Dragonfly developer tools turn it into a powerful debugging environment as well.

In this presentation, I will give an overview of the status of Opera's SVG implementation on desktop and mobile, and introduce some of the latest changes to the Opera Presto engine.

I will also explore and demo how SVG can be used in combination with other technologies present in the Opera browser, such as CSS3, widgets and more, and showcase how to debug SVG on desktop and mobile using Opera's developer tools.
