The underlying philosophies and practices of Waterfall and Agile styles of software development are vastly different, one might say to the point of incompatibility. What are we to make of those differences, and furthermore, for those wishing to transition from one to another, what is the path? In this session we will explore the similarities and differences, chart a map of the project management methodologies landscape, and most importantly, provide a roadmap for those brave enough to navigate the turbulent waters of transitioning from "traditional" methodology to Agile.
