Adobe Flex is an open-source technology that lets you create GUI applications in Actionscript and XML that can be deployed anywhere Flash and AIR technology are supported, including smartphone and tablets running Android, iOS, and Blackberry.
If you want the simplicity of using a single code base for deploying to multiple platforms, or are looking to enhance the UI of your application using assets developed in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, Flex is the ideal technology.
In this talk, your instructor will build an application and deploy it to three platforms in under 15 minutes. You’ll learn the best way to target multiple devices with different screen resolution/density and hardware features, and see examples of the new mobile-specific APIs added to the Flex SDK.
