A Brief History of Error Messages

A session at Barcamp Blackpool 3

Saturday 15th October, 2011

11:30am to 11:50am (GMT)

In 'The Big One'

or "Who is General Failure and why is he reading my drive?"
A Brief History of Error Messages
by Alex Martindale
with additional material by Kerry Burnout

Alex Martindale presents a tour of error messages from history, (hopefully) recreating some classic error messages on the original hardware in front of a live audience. This one featured a surprisingly reliable ZX Spectrum, a failed Windows ME installation, and a sadmac emulator.
