There’s beauty in the details and as web designers we take pride in striving to tell a better, more engaging story through them. These details lift our work to stand out and help make it a true experience.
CSS3 a perfect option for adding that little something extra to the web site you’re creating. Those little extra things that can make your design more engaging and give your visual concept that extra polish.
We’ll look at examples of impressive uses of CSS3, step through how they were created, and why they work with that design. We’ll cover CSS3 options like @font-face, media queries, gradients, transitions and box-shadows to name a few. We’ll talk about why you’d want to use them at all, which ones are truly ready for primetime, and discuss alternate options for ones that aren’t.
This session will cover both the practical “how” to implement CSS3, and the thinking behind how to use it deliberately and effectively in your design.
