Lucien Halleux

CEO of G-Tec and visiting Professor of Geophysics at the University of Leuven, Lucien Halleux is a qualified geological engineer from the University of Liège (Belgium) and holds a PhD in geophysical engineering. He has 30 years experience in Engineering Geology and Geophysics. In 1993 he founded G-Tec. The company designs, carries out and interprets site investigation campaigns. Recent assignments include numerous marine projects involving dredging and land reclamation such as the deepening of Panama Canal, harbour infrastructures and renewable offshore energy projects all over the world.
Lucien is also active in applied R&D. He developed several innovative applications of geophysical techniques, some of which are protected by patents. He is (co)author of 30 papers in international journals and congresses.
