    Facility Operations Summit

The fourth AIPC Facility Operations Summit will be held on November 27 and 28, 2011 in cooperation with EIBTM in Barcelona. The object of this session is to create a forum in which key operational and event management issues can be identified and addressed from a global perspective.

These days, more and more centres are looking for increased operational efficiencies and new ways to become more competitive in their markets. The AIPC Facility Operations Summit has been specifically designed to meet these needs.

With everything from sustainability to technology evolving at high speed, there has never been a more important time for a forum that brings together those with specific operational responsibilities - and to connect them with the expertise that can help them respond to new challenges while forming new support networks with their counterparts in other centres.

This year´s AIPC Facility Operations Summit will again feature the best available knowledge from high-level presenters from key areas, and help participants develop new ways to problem solve. Included in the program will be a feature panel on managing mega-events, presentations on evolving technology and communications, a session on team building and leadership and a practical look at ways to address growing demands for sustainable event services. There will also be an opportunity to review the latest trends in the conventions and exhibitions areas, along with the implications of those trends for facility operations.

Best of all will be the chance for members to compare notes with colleagues and discover new ways of dealing with issues of common concern - the kind of opportunity that is seldom available to a group who can benefit the most!

The AIPC Facility Operations Summit has been a huge success in its first three years, and with the help of a multi-national advisory committee, this promises to be the best ever. Make an important investment in your operational efficiency - and get the kind of long term returns this unique program offers.
