Suske en Wiske for iOS: Road to 100,000 Downoads in a Week

A session at FITC Amsterdam 2011

Wednesday 9th March, 2011

10:00am to 11:00am (AMT)

To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Suske en Wiske, Standaard Uitgeverij decided to launch a special edition called “De Stuivende Stad”. But that’s not all... For the first time they wanted to bring one of Belgium’s most popular comics to the iPhone and iPad, and that’s exactly where Little Miss Robot came in!

After one week and a lot of attention on national television and newspapers Little Miss Robot registered over 100,000 downloads. The application took off like a rocket and became the talk of the town. In this session Thomas and Valentijn will give you a look behind the scenes of the creation process, talk about the problems they encountered and will share some dark inside secrets! A must for all comic book lovers out there!
