Narratives in New Spaces

A session at FITC Toronto 2011

Monday 2nd May, 2011

2:55pm to 3:55pm (EST)

What happens when technology becomes indistinguishable from magic? Digital technology represents the magical quality that is creating a paradigm shift in how we communicate and experience the world around us. This panel will explore how technology is acting as a catalyst to richer, immersive stories in both art and commercial spaces.

Curated by Pixel Pixel is an immersive art and technology incubator founded in 2002 by a collective of artists, designers and technologists. Pixel curates art based and commercial projects, mixing grass roots arts with new digital channels to create original interactive experiences.

Our mantra is Everyone.Touch. This hinges on the belief that collaboration across many disciplines builds strong creative culture. Our goal is to bring creative thinkers, artists, designers, and technologists together to create experiences that will change the way we interact with the world around us.
