Building secure, interactive, scalable web applications easily on JVM with Lift

A session at JavaOne 2011

Wednesday 5th October, 2011

8:30am to 9:30am (PST)

Among the plethora of Web application frameworks on the JVM, Lift provides some distinct advantages in helping build secure, interactive, and scalable applications that are also easy to develop, fast, and nimble.

This session introduces Lift briefly and goes on to discuss the key features—such as security, interactivity, scalability, and designer-friendliness—that distinguish Lift from other Web frameworks on JVM. The presentation uses code and a live demonstration to share with developers how they can take advantage of these features (often underpinned by Java EE 6 features).
