Jazoon 2011
Jazoon opens its scope and widens its topics. We are proud to invite you to submit proposals for presentations at the Jazoon'11 conference to be held from June 21 to 23, 2011 in Zurich, Switzerland. Jazoon'11 will be the 5th edition of a successful conference series started in 2007. It features three tracks of topics with two to three parallel sessions each. The presentations cover a broad spectrum of topics around state-of-the-art software development, software engineering and the management of software development processes.
Presentation slots will be 50 minutes (long talks) or 20 minutes (short talks) and should provide enough time to interact with the participants.
Jazoon is aimed at professionals involved in software development (software developers) as well as in decisions regarding software development processes, methods, and technologies (e.g. IT managers, project leaders, software architects, etc.). The participants will gain an excellent overview of the state-of-the-art in modern software development and software engineering. The focus is on cutting edge techniques that have also proven to be successful in practical use. This year’s conference focuses on “Crossover and Fusion”. The Jazoon program strives for answering the following questions: how to develop applications in a heterogeneous environment, how to design and develop applications for different platforms (e.g. web, mobile), how to implement agile and lean at the enterprise level; what kinds of tools, architectures, and techniques support building distributed systems that are required by these environments; and which designs and languages will enable the production process as well as the productivity of the product itself.
