Accessibility (DDA compliance and W3C) - Designers Line

A session at Joomla!Day UK 2011

  • Joshue O'Connor

Saturday 24th September, 2011

3:45pm to 4:30pm (GMT)

There is a lot more to building and designing web sites than just making it look pretty! You need to also make sure that your site conforms to the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) so that people with visual impairments (such as colour blindness or those who browse the web using braille readers) and all other people covered covered under the Act can use the site.

This will also cover how the site can be accessible whilst using other viewers including mobile phones and tablets to make sure the visitor can see your content in a clear way.

A full Q&A time will be allocated at the end of the session, so you can ask questions to international professionals with years of experience for advice and guidance.
