Arquillian is the in-container test framework led by JBoss that is redefining the testing landscape in Java EE. It not only simplifies the task of writing tests, but it provides a tool for exploring the behavior of the Java EE programming models and deployment mechanisms. In some cases you'll use test cases to ensure proper interaction between client and server, others to verify portable behavior across compliant containers and countless more to assert the features of various technologies. We'll spend only a brief amount of time on theory and goals of Arquillian. Then we'll showcase recent additions to Arquillian's capabilities, inviting you to think of ways Arquillian can be useful to your application's test suite or your personal discovery process.
