A session at London JS: Chrome and Firefox Extensions
You hack JavaScript, but do you build browser extensions? Did Firefox scare you away for good? Well, Chrome's extension platform is pretty sweet, and works with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. We'll build and evolve an extension to help you understand how the pieces fit together, and to get you excited about hacking your own.
Mark is a European Dutchman and web hacker. He's worked on Xopus, sIFR and is a committer to the Dojo Toolkit. Currently he's heavily involved in a London startup, solving problems with sweet sweet JavaScript left and right.
