ES.next, DOM.next, and Web Components

A session at London JS: coffee script & .next

The web platform isn't as bad as many make it out to be, but it *is* badly connected to itself. Many idioms go un-recycled in ways that make dealing with the boundaries between JS, DOM, and CSS more painful than it has to be. Come hear how new work in WebKit is addressing these challenges, building on new syntax and semantics the begin to connect the amazing systems already in browsers in ways that will give you more power and fewer headaches, all with less code.
