Sessions at Mobile Cloud Summit about Mobile Cloud Services and Mobile Marketing on Wednesday 21st September

Andy will help set the scene for Day 1 of Mobile Cloud Summit, arguing why cloud computing has become an imperative in an era of increasingly pervasive mobile devices and the 'consumerisation' of business IT.

Andy Burton is Chairman of the Cloud Industry Forum, a not-for-profit organisation that champions the emerging UK cloud industry and aims to provide transparency to end users about the capability and standards adopted by suppliers. In the last year he has overseen the launch of a new Self Certification Code of Practice for Cloud Service Providers. Andy is also CEO of Fasthosts Internet Group, delivering web hosting, IAAS and cloud services to several hundred thousand customers in the UK and USA. Prior to Fasthosts Internet Group, Andy held CEO roles at Centennial Software; Content Technologies (Baltimore), and Chubb Information Security. He was also Chief Operating Officer of ClearSwift, and held Managing Director posts within the publicly traded Chubb Security Group (now UTC) and Securicor Group (now G4S).
