Bonjour à tous,
Again this year, the Paris-Web organization is putting together its annual series of conferences and workshops around accessibility, web design and quality in web development.
This sixth edition will be held in Paris, from October 13th to 15th, 2011. The theme for this year is KISS:
Keep it Simple & Smart.
We would to hear your take on the way to apply the KISS principle to the web craft, the thinking and decision processes behind it. Of course, this theme is not a limitation, but we think you'll be better off by keeping it simple, rather than complicated. ;-)
We invite all interested speakers to submit their proposals before June 18th, 2011, by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may submit one or multiple subjects, in the following formats:
Conferences and mini-conferences are all held in the amphitheaters on Thursday and Friday. Workshops are held in 40/60-attendees rooms, on Saturday. They are an excellent way to directly interact with the attendees, and can be either theoretical or practical.
We would ideally like to receive submissions following this template:
People who have submitted a subject will be notified personally, whether their subject is selected or not.
If you are accepted, you can be reimbursed for your participation (transportation, lodging and meals, within certain limits depending where you reside). Note that you will be filmed, and that the resulting videos as well as your slides will be put online for free on the Internet (under CC-By-NC). Sending your proposal implies your acceptance of our terms of participation.
Finally, we are organizing a “warm-up” session in Paris, just like last year, in order to encourage new speakers. Details will be given later on: stay tuned on the Paris Web news.
Looking forward to hearing from you! We can't wait for October!
