Developing an iPhone Application

A session at SEUG 2011

With growing numbers of students using smartphones, an increasing number of Universities are developing “apps” to target specific handsets running, for example, the iOS or Android operating systems. This session will look at some of the technologies which must be learnt to develop for the iPhone/iPod touch, and will cover the experiences involved with developing Durham University’s first (unofficial!) app, “DU Guide” as well as the “SEUG 2011” application which accompanies this conference.
