The abundance of possible shared services and partnership opportunities can be overwhelming, leading to difficulty identifying which projects to try. The best determining factor for success if for the customer to be the driving force behind any collaborative effort. The North Central Texas Council of Governments serves 240 member governments –or customers – which 170 are cities. During this session you will hear the steps for a successful collaboration

  • Create a winning approach – does it have the potential to save money , does it have the potential to provide equal of better service levels
  • Develop the Request for Proposal
  • Assemble a pilot group to participate in the initial implementation
  • Streamline access to the project
