The Practicing Programmer

A session at Tampere Goes Agile 2011

Saturday 17th September, 2011

10:15am to 11:15am (HMT)

Agile software development is based on incremental delivery and refinement. In order to release frequent, the existing code must be of high quality. Many agile teams use test-driven development, pair programming and continuous integration to achieve this quality. These are practices that take minutes to understand and years to master. In the presentation, Johannes will demonstrate pair programming and test-driven development in practice, both covering easy toy problems, and covering realistic infrastructure concerns during testing. The presentation will leave plenty of time for questions and discussions.
