In this presentation, Alex will show you how to start building your use case model from any starting point. He will show you the key steps to building a use case model from the foundations up with your stakeholders’ needs at the center.

He will also show you how to employ prototypes to grab the attention of your stakeholders and lift the quality of the use case model.

He will take from creation through to achieving stakeholder signoff.

Alex Papworth is a freelance BA who has applied use cases successfully for over ten years in many varied organisations (amongst many other techniques!). He has been mentoring business analysts online through www.bamentor.com for the past two years. He is active in the business analyst community as President of the UK Chapter of the IIBA. He also enjoys creating innovative solutions to mentoring business analysts whether through eLearning, one to one virtual mentoring or, his current project, collaborative mentoring, exploiting the collective knowledge of the BA community to help itself.
