No single factor causes a greater exodus of women from advertising than motherhood. The very thing that causes the problem – family unfriendliness of agencies – causes its result: family unfriendliness of ads. With moms being the most lucrative consumer segment out there, how can agencies afford to lose its female CDs to motherhood? What will it take to keep them?
