Social Marketing Crash Course: Innovative Ways to Listen, Engage & Add Value for Your Brand

A session at Ad:tech New York 2012

Wednesday 7th November, 2012

2:15pm to 3:15pm (EST)

Social is one of the fastest growing, most exciting areas of digital marketing today and we’re providing a lot of coverage at ad:tech to help you get the most out of it. To get started, we’re offering a social crash course so you can jump in feet first. According to a recent data forecast by BIA/Kelsey, social ad spending is expected to reach $4.8B in 2012 and set to explode to close to $10B by 2016. Marketers need to understand how to effectively target and engage social consumers, how to hold a conversation with their customers and respond to feedback, and how to integrate social across broader campaign efforts. Join our Social Marketing Master Frank Eliason of Citi and other senior marketers as we hear real-world examples, gain insight into research on how social affects consumers’ lives and better understand how social is changing the way we do business.

Key Takeaways

  • See examples of how to best integrate social media into your overall on- and offline marketing mix
  • Gain insights into new ways that consumers are interacting with brands across multiple social platforms
  • Learn how to find, reward and empower your brand’s ambassadors
