Top online retailers are starting and redoubling their affiliate efforts to meet the challenges with affiliate management teams that have more experience and depth than in the past. These brands are also taking a very hard look at what types of affiliates add incremental value and which ones just cannibalize sales from other channels, rethinking the role of loyalty and coupon sites that historically made up most affiliate sales.
