El Museo del Barrio is the prominent Latino cultural institution located in the Heckscher Building at East 104th Street on Manhattan’s Museum Mile. The renovation of the building by Gruzen Samton Architects has met the goal of creating an open, inviting new public face to Fifth Avenue and the museum space within.

The tour will be led by William Singer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, of Gruzen Samton Architects who has over two decades of experience as a designer, project architect, and project manager.
