26 October 2012 from 12pm to 1pm

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

Sponsored by the Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority, the Irish Hunger Memorial commemorates the great Irish hunger and migration of 1845-52. A contemplative space where visitors explore the famine and its connections to world hunger today, the memorial ultimately aims to effect social change. The memorial, winner of an invited competition, was designed by 1100 Architect, artist Brian Tolle, and landscape architect Gail Wittwer-Laird.

Reservations must be made in advance.
