Boost Your Start-Up: appealing to the US market

Best practices from a panel of experts, followed by drinks & networking

20 November 2012 from 2pm to 5pm

Great companies are built on great ideas that are often nurtured and grown from humble beginnings. Rackspace views business startups with a special fondness given our own modest foundations starting as a ten person operation in San Antonio, Texas.

Boost Your Start-Up is a networking event to be held in the heart of London’s 'Tech City', exploring the opportunities available for start-ups to sell to US markets. We'll discuss how start-ups can work with organisations and institutions to set up and establish a trading presence in the US, as well as demonstrating how to make their offerings appeal to US customers.

The event will also include a panel discussion featuring some of the most prominent thought leaders and experts on building successful ventures in the US. The event will be moderated by Robert Scoble: the world’s pre-eminent blogger and evangelist on technology and start-ups. The panel will share their own experiences as start-ups and the challenges faced with international expansion. They will also discuss best practices as you start up your own business including how to leverage social media to promote your brand globally.
