As student fees have increased, so too has the importance of the course and subject-related factors in applicant decision- making. Having an attractive portfolio of programmes is now central to marketing success. The i-MAP project was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England to establish the key variables that contribute to programme market performance and how to optimise the sector’s approach.
