Social media has become much more than a platform for having a two-way discussion and is now considered an effective tool for reputation and profile management. In this session you will learn important lessons in crisis and issues management through a mix of traditional and social media. Alison Arnot will share her first hand insights and experience of managing crisis communications and Tracy Playle will talk us through examples where social media has had an important role to play and what can be learned from this about how to approach it.
