This session will look at recent developments in the Welsh Information Literacy project which include embedding the Welsh Information Literacy Framework with public and school library services across Wales.
In particular, we have developed with Agored Cymru accredited learning in information literacy skills. Furthermore, we have identified information literacy champions in each local authority library service in Wales to help support infomation literacy skills development amongst public library staff and users.
Andrew has worked in FE for over 20 years - He is currently project manager of the Welsh Information Literacy Project (WILP) - a cross sector intiative funded by the Welsh Government - focussing on the development of IL skills in schools and amongst the general public in Wales.
