Almost every organization has existing applications that employees, and customers, access every day. But they are not social. Salesforce Chatter, and the Chatter REST API makes it easy for developers to turn applications such as Intranets and portals, custom mobile apps, and other enterprise systems into a social app. This session will describe how to leverage Chatter, and the Chatter REST API to build engaging apps on Force.com, and any other platform, or device that supports REST. In addition, we will also give you a glimpse at what's next for the Chatter REST API with pilot features coming in Summer '12.
