Sessions at DDC - .NET Developer Conference about Windows 8 and Metro Design Language on Tuesday 15th May

This session will outline how to reimagine the UI of applications to take advantage of these new capabilities. It will present the new UI capabilities, and how to structure the interaction model in our application to take advantage of that. We will focus on ways to extend an existing desktop application to take advantage of these UI capabilities. In the process of doing that, we will compare the Windows 8 Metro application pattern against the typical WPF desktop application pattern.
