Carolina Code Camp 2012
Mark your calendars for the @DevelopersGuild annual developer event on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the CPCC Levine Campus in Matthews, NC.
We're putting together this year's Carolina Code Camp event and we need you! We want you to present to YOUR passion. We never turn away a speaker. This year we are looking for talks on the following general topics:
1. BI - Techniques used in spotting, digging-out, and analyzing business data. (PowerPivot)
2. Cloud - Early adopters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas. (Azure; AWS)
3. Data - All about getting data. (SQL Server; Entity Framework; ORD; NoSQL)
4. Day Job - Topics to enhance performance on your day job. (Architecture; Agile; ALM)
5. Hands On Labs - Hands on labs designed to get you quickly up and running on a topic.
6. Phone - Phone labs, presentations and interactive sessions.
7. SharePoint - SharePoint labs and development topics.
8. Silverlight/WPF - Topics around the declarative markup language XAML. (WPF/Silverlight; MVVM; LightSwitch; Frameworks like Prism, Caliburn, MVVM Light)
9. Visual Studio - A mix of topics too numerous to track and too good to miss all with a focus on the code! (PowerShell; Coded UI)
10. Web - ASP.NET and other important web topics. (MVC; WebMatrix; Razor; jQuery; HTML5)
11. Windows 8/Metro - Windows 8 labs, presentations and interactive sessions.

We are using Eventbrite again this year to manage registrations. From the Carolina Code Camp website, set the Speaker ticket quantity to 1 and click the Register button. Then simply follow the instructions to complete your registration. If you would like to register more than three sessions, let us know by email. If your travel requirements make either a morning or afternoon presentation better for you, please send us a note.
Deadline for session submittal is Thursday, April 19th with approvals being sent out by Saturday, April 28th.
Please don't forget about the Speaker Party happening the night before on Friday, May 4th. The exact time and venue for this special event are being determined, but we will be sure to keep everyone informed.
