  • Robots and Avatars Learning Experiences- Developing your digital skills through creativity!

    by Leanne Hammacott

Robots and Avatars – our colleagues and playmates of the future, is an innovative project which explores how people will work and play with new representational forms of themselves and others in virtual and physical life in the next 10-15 years. It examines multi-identity evolutions of today’s generations within the context of a world in which virtual and physical spaces are increasingly blended.

The Robots and Avatars Learning Experiences are cutting-edge training for emerging creatives and professionals from diverse sectors and backgrounds mixing a set of skills linked to Avatars and Virtual Worlds, Robotic Futures and Tele-presence, giving artists, students, schools and cultural professionals an illuminating set of skills, aptitudes, resources and methodologies linked to the themes and help prepare for future jobs and careers in a fast moving and technological 21st century.

Robots and Avatars is run by body>data>space- an East London/Tech City design collective creating innovative connections between performance, architecture, virtual worlds and new media.

    At 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday 21st May
