Big publishers are also beginning to build vertical sites around non-fiction topics. Specialist publishers, sometimes called “enthusiast” publishers, have the built-in advantage in a vertical world of having already built their lists around audiences. This panel will have speakers from both the general and specialist worlds discussing how they are building communities with their content as a starting point. They’ll talk about the opportunities that arise from doing that, including B2B content sales as well as a community to help them sell their existing books.
