Discussion: How do we get more kids to code?

A session at #digpen V: Plymouth

Saturday 29th September, 2012

1:15pm to 1:15pm (GMT)

There's been a lot of coverage of the poor ICT curriculum in schools when it comes to serious programming. The Government is taking steps to fix that, but in the meantime what initiatives and ideas are there for working with schools now to improve their computing and design education? This will be a practical discussion lead by Shirley Atkinson from Plymouth University. If you're already involved with schools, or would like to be, this is a chance to share ideas and find people to work with.
