What's New in Android? The web.

A session at droidcon 2012

The web is an amazing collaboration, connecting us to information and each other as never before. As Android grows in popularity, millions upon millions of users are bringing the web around with them, right in their pockets. The cleverly named default "Browser" that you've become familiar with is powerful and fast, but we can do better. In fact, we've _done_ better: Chrome on Android out now as a public beta, and it's incredible. Here, we'll walk through this new browser from a developer's viewpoint. We'll discuss it's technical capabilities, examine the debugging workflow, touch on the team's strategy going forward, and discover how a powerful browser like Chrome can help you change the face of the mobile web.
