Design by Fire Café #016

Applying Behavior Design

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

On Wednesday 25 April 2012 IxDA Nederland organizes the 16th edition of Design by Fire Café. Design by Fire Café is an informal gathering for (interaction) designers.

Products and services in finance, health and the environment, among other areas, are increasingly designed around influencing behavior. There are useful academic models and patterns for applying persuasion techniques. However, these techniques tend to stand alone, separate from our proven methods and processes for designing to support good user experiences.

While understanding how behavior design can influence people to be better, Chris will also discuss tactically how we design these products and services so that they serve the interest of customers, as well as meet business needs.
