  • Training: Drupal Layout and Theming

    You know how to make flexible content types, how to structure your site with custom paths and menus, and how to create dynamic lists of content with Drupal. And yet - you've found the limitations of the core block system to place the content on your site. Now you want to know how you can get control of where content is placed in your page structure.

    This one day course is based on our 2 day Drupal Layout and Theming course. Full description on training.acquia.com.

    Prerequisites
    To get the most out of this course, it's essential that you have site building skills. As well as familiarity with HTML and CSS. PHP is not required. Site building skills are outlined on our Drupal in a Day and Site Building course descriptions.

    What you'll do:
    Create a custom theme in Drupal.
    Learn the essential PHP you need to make a theme in Drupal.
    Understand when to configure and when to code.

  • Sprint: Drupal and the Arrays of Doom (Rebuild Theme Layer for Drupal 8)!

    We all know that the theme layer in Drupal can be much better. It's time that we really take a deep look into the arrays of doom and improve it instead of complaining.

    The same weekend Frontend United will set a landmark for frontend development in the Drupal community, our friends in the United States are doing a sprint in

    San Francisco. This is a unique chance to get a say in what we need and want as proud frontend devs.

    We will discuss and sprint all Friday with the group in the States and help them out all weekend with usual inputs.
