GameHack: Games 4 Good [POSTPONED]

Lets make games that change the world

17 18 November 2012

We all love games, that’s why we make them. Games bring people together to share, learn and have fun, it doesn’t matter if they are in the same room or across the globe.

What if we harnessed that potential? What if we created games that were great fun but also tried to help make the world a better place? We think it’s an exciting idea, which is why we are trying something new and having a theme for the next GH – Games for Good.

By creating games using the TheGivingLab.org API the potential to help good causes is limitless, together we can create games that drive real change. This could be offering in game items for charity donations, trying to raise awareness of a cause or ideal – demonstrating the effects of deforestation perhaps? We think there is a world of opportunity out there for you to help make things better and have fun doing it!
