Designing A Game Your Teenage Daughter Will Actually Play

A session at GDC Game Developers Conference 2012

  • Roque Devine

Monday 5th March, 2012

1:45pm to 2:45pm (PST)

In this talk we will hear from both sides of a game development story. From the idea, to the pitch, to the implementation you will hear the perspective of the veteran game designer and his teenage daughter as they work together to produce interesting experiences they are both proud of.

TAKEAWAY: Teenagers have a very different approach to gaming and the next generation is very different in terms of how they want to experience games. Attendees should takeaway insights and ideas on how to approach this audience in their games.
