Agile Software Development in the Computer Science Handbook

A session at Italian Agile Day 2012

Saturday 24th November, 2012

3:25pm to 4:15pm (CET)

The Computer Science Handbook (http://www.amazon.com/Computer-S...) is a large compendium of the Body of Knowledge in Computer Science. Due to the great success of the first two editions, a third edition will be published which will also include software engineering. The goals of these chapters are to summarize the principles, the best practices in the state of the art, and current and future research topics in each area.

I was asked to write the chapter on Agile Software Development for the new edition of the Computer Science Handbook. I think the participants in Italian Agile Day could be interested in hearing about the experience of writing this chapter: what I identified as current trends, current and future research topics, etc.
