Working with external hardware and the Arduino

A session at iOS Sensors and External Hardware Masterclass

Monday 8th October, 2012

1:30pm to 3:00pm (GMT)

Until recently, it was actually quite difficult to interface these otherwise interesting devices and connect them to your iPhone as Apple’s proprietary dock connector was a major stumbling block. This session will guide you through developing applications for the iOS platform that make use of the Redpark Serial Cable and the External Accessory Framework to connect your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to any standard serial (RS-232 or TTL) capable device.
