Higher order flow control in JavaScript applications

A session at JS.everywhere(2012)

Friday 26th October, 2012

1:30pm to 2:00pm (PST)

Modern JavaScript applications must interact with a variety of disparate systems and combine data from multiple sources. JavaScript excels in highly-evented asynchronous applications. Using underscore and jQuery.Deferred, we can apply functional programming techniques to shape, transform, and query data in a domain-centric, maintainable way to control the flow of data through applications. Temporal decoupling in JavaScript applications can improve performance, reliability, and control over data for increasingly powerful and complex web apps.
