  Vanessa is the Olympics correspondent at the FT and also edits the paper’s online Olympics content. Her hybrid role involves reporting and coordinating the FT’s web coverage of the games. She joined the paper in 2010 as the world news desk researcher, after a brief stint at Bloomberg TV.

  Vanessa is Canadian but came to the UK three years ago, when she gained a Masters in Journalism from Goldsmiths College in London.
