Our series continues uptown with a look at extraordinary Italianate architecture. Awarded landmark status in 1976, the century-old former administration building for the New York, Westchester and Boston Railroad at East 180th Street is a local and national historic site--boasting a clay tiled roof, balustraded balconies and grand arched windows. Architects at New York City Transit lead a tour of the building and slideshow of its recent restoration and rehabilitation.
