Motivating the Inner Activist at the Gates Foundation Visitor Center

A session at MCN 2012

Friday 9th November, 2012

3:52pm to 4:15pm (PST)

Interactivity played a central role in developing experiences to educate, inspire, and motivate Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation visitors to get involved in social issues. Effectively addressing all learning styles and interest levels was a key goal. To give all visitors the opportunity to share thoughts, express ideas, and even disagree with the foundation's approach to issues, we used a variety of technical solutions designed to "get out of the way" of the visitor's engagement.
